As the health and welfare of our Signature HealthCARE residents is and always will be our top priority, we want to inform you that state and local officials of New Port Richey, Florida have made the decision to evacuate parts of New Port Richey, which includes our facility, Southern Pines Healthcare Center.
On Tuesday, our leadership and staff decided to begin safely transferring our beloved residents to two of our sister locations:
Peninsula Care and Rehabilitation Center
900 Beckett Way,
Tarpon Springs, FL 34689
Heritage Park Care and Rehabilitation Center
2302 59th Street West,
Bradenton, FL 34209
Signature HealthCARE teams are working tirelessly to preserve the safety and health of our residents and will continuously provide up-to-date information to Signature HealthCARE families.
Our Care Navigation Line at 1-844-SHC-CHAT or 1-844-742-2428 is available 24/7 and will be updated as new information becomes available. We ask that you please direct all phone calls to this number, and refrain from calling the facility, as all staff will be focused on transferring and welcoming new residents into the Peninsula and Heritage Park communities. Updates will also continue to be posted on the Southern Pines Healthcare Center, Peninsula Care and Rehabilitation Center, and Heritage Park Care and Rehabilitation Center Facebook pages and websites.
We continue to cooperate and collaborate with both state and local officials during this weather event. Please remain patient as we transfer residents to the evacuation sites. Our trained, dedicated stakeholders are working thoroughly to prepare and protect our elders, residents, and patients during this transition. We remain committed to the health and well-being of everyone involved.
